Hysterectomy at 35
My husband and I have been together 13 years. Pregnant twice, miscarried both times.
This past year, we started a fertility journey we both were hoping would work out in the end. Unfortunately, after multiple tests and surgeries, we found out I had carcinoma in my cervix, making it's way to my uterus. Also hard stage two endometriosis and adenomyosis.
I'm scheduled to have a complete hysterectomy December 1st because of the constant pain I'm in as well as lowering the risk of the carcinoma coming back.
I'm scared, but I know this is the best thing we can do to ensure my quality of living is improved. I suffer from depression and this is going to be a major trigger.
Does anyone have any advice? I would greatly appreciate anything right now.
