Inducing or speeding up labor?!

What did all mommys do to speed up or induce labor?? 
And what helped !! 🙂😇

As far as progressing labor, idk if it helps progress labor but I’ve had my babies in 5 hrs start to finish twice. I like to move around (rock my hips) and camped out in a shower/bath for 3 hrs haha just relaxing and opening hips 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ good luck mama! Wishing you a safe and SOON labor! 🥰❤️

This may be a coincidence, but with both of my kiddos I had prenatal massages with a masseuse who specialized in deep tissue work. I told her to go after all the acupressure points that would send me into labor. It worked both times because I had consistent contractions with both pregnancies the evenings the session took place. I was in labor the next morning with my first baby (39wks6d) and a day after with my second baby (39wks4d). With each pregnancy, a few weeks prior to the massage sessions, I also ate 8 dates a day, bounced on a birth ball religiously, did squats daily, and drank red raspberry leaf tea to help tone my uterus. 
With all that said, I do firmly believe my body was ready to go into labor. I think you can do “all the things” and if your body and baby aren’t ready, nothing will work to induce labor naturally.

I used clary Sage during early labor to help me relax and also increase the intensity of my contractions.  I should note that they were already strong enough to wake me at this point and coming 2-5 minutes apart before I used it.  I noticed an immediate pick up in intensity though while my body also felt calmer

Weirdly, there is research that eating dates in your last couple weeks of pregnancy helps speed up your labor. Evidence based birth talks about the research studies in their natural labor induction series. I think it helped me. But also, I stayed moving and had some chiropractic care during my pregnancy to make sure baby was in a good position. My first was 30 hours and ended in a cesarean birth because he was sunny side up and my second was maybe 12 hours and a vbac
