Epidural late

I’m a first time mom and wasn’t high risk My due date was November 12 and I gave birth October 31st at 28 weeks. I knew I was going to give birth early my body was giving up on me everyday never did my water broke but started getting contractions at 2am which I thought were just gas pains until they kept getting stronger and then I started bleeding a little by 5am I was at the hospital 5cm dialated. Ended up giving birth at 1:40p after 1 hr of pushing. It pisses me off that they waited until I was like 7cm dialated to give me the epidural though the worst pain I ever felt in my whole life I felt like dying anybody else ?!
