Bottle weaning

Has anyone weaned their LO off the bottles yet? Mine turned one on 10/30 and the doctor/AAP says they should be completely weaned by 15 months and limited to 16oz a day of milk/milk alternative.

We got bigger 9oz sippy cups (OXO brand) and are gonna start using those instead. I don’t think my little man is gonna mind the change too much, but we still use the bottle as a sleep crutch so putting him down without a drink is gonna be the harder obstacle. 😬

Where is everyone at with this? Any advice? TIA
