So I work in a childcare center. This is my 9th year there. I helped open the infant program that I supervise so I refer to it as my baby! Ha. Anyway...
This summer I married the man of my dreams who just so happened to be a co owner of a chain of grocery stores. So I quickly went from struggling hard working single mother to only working because I enjoy it. Everyone told me I should quit, especially because we were trying to concieve. I told them I respect my coworkers and boss too much and would be finishing the year.
Well we are now expecting. This pregnancy is tough. I called in sick two days in a row one week and then again the following Tuesday. I got called into my bosses office Wednesday upon returning to learn that my coworkers were telling my boss they felt like I was blowing off work because I didn't have to be there. I'm so offended and hurt. I'd like to quit because this pregnancy is so tough and now I don't feel any support at work.
