He’s here! 😭🥺🥰😍💙

My sweet dude came early (35w6d) on Dec 1st at 5:35 am, weighing 6lbs7oz, and 18 3/4 in long. He was born by an emergency c section. There was a lot of things happening that had my doctor worried, so they rushed us back; knocked me out and got him out as quickly as possible. It was crazy and frightening, but I am so beyond grateful that we are both here and healthy! He is absolutely perfect in every way. And he’s breastfeeding like a champ even though he has a tongue tie 😩 he’s been doing amazing. He has absolutely blown all of our minds with how great he’s doing for being so early.

One thing that literally melted my heart completely. I asked the doctor before he took me back, if there was no complications/issues, if he could please leave the placenta attached so my husband could cut the cord and he did that for us. 😭💙 I was so worried because it was an emergency they wouldn’t let him. I cannot express how absolutely thankful I am that he was able to make that happen!
