Do you still cuddle with your teens?

Question

My son has been having a lot of nightmares on his antidepressants. But it's the only antidepressants that gave worked. He's 16 going on 17 and will sometimes come cuddle with me or his dad  if he's scared or even just had a bad day. My 14 year old daughter comes to cuddle with me if she's cramping on her period. Just wondering if anyone cuddles with their teens still.

My twins are only 2.5 yo but I just wanted to say that I think it’s lovely your children feel safe and loved with you. All children whatever age should experience this type of love.

I would climb into my dad's lap in his recliner up until I got married at 20 and moved out. I think its great they still feel comfortable enough and safe enough to cuddle!

I remember still cuddling with my mom when I was 15/16. I’m 29 now and when I go visit her we will often just fall asleep in her bed with the dogs and cat. She has a huge California king and a big tv in her room so we will have a movie night and fall asleep lol My stepdad is a truck driver so he’s gone a lot and my mom has a huge house just to her and the pets. While it’s not cuddling, I don’t see any problem with it at all.

My daughter is just a toddler, but I hope she will always feel it's safe to come to me when she needs it! 😊
I have a good friend and she is very close with her mother even now as an adult. Sometimes all you need is comfort and someone to hold you!

Yep! My 22 year old son will lay against me when we watch tv, my 16 year old son loves to curl up in all my pillows and put his feet on me and my daughter (14) will attack with random cuddles all the time.

My kids are only almost 4 and 2 but I definitely will when they are teens and need that cuddle

Mine are little. But I cuddled with my Mom on occasion into my early 20s (she passed away when I was 22 and she was on one coast and I on the other by then so not sure what it would have been like that after that). I think it’s totally fine. You’re their Mama and Daddy forever. Independence is gradual and we all need touch, no matter our age. I’d be thankful they’re still comfortable depending on me for that touch instead of reaching out to who knows who else
