Tips on How to make leaving the house easier?

I just had a baby less than two weeks ago and i have a 2.5 year old. I left the house with them both on my own once and it took about 45 min 🥴 i would love any advice on making it a little easier

Give you reset some dang grace! It’s been less than two weeks! Time and falling into a rhythm. Can you illicit the toddlers help in any capacity, grabbing their drink of snack bag, picking out their own shoes, etc. I don’t have a newborn but we have two 2 year olds and taking more than one out by myself is like trying to wrangle a herd of cats. Just come to terms with the crazy for that season of life?

We set out clothes the night before and make sure bags and lunches are totally packed. I make sure I just have to grab all the things to walk out the door. Easier said than done 🤷🏼‍♀️

Plan your outing for a time that works for them (example: not after nap, I know my toddler wakes up sour after a nap and drags his feet for a while upon waking) also have your diaper bag packed and ready to go (with snacks/juice box/premature formula powder ready to go) and only take what you really need!
