Work or football?

Okay ladies, I would like your opinion on a touchy subject between my fiancé and I. We are currently buying a house (contract for 1 year then a mortgage loan). We have a house mate who won't pay all of his part of the bills, we are living pay check to pay check and a new job opportunity came up to him where he would be making enough money for us to not stress about bills, food, and gas. The problem is that it interferes with his football. He plays semi-pro and he wouldn't be able to make away games or anything due to forced Saturday's at this new job. I think he should take the job because it would help us a lot! Not to mention we just found out we are expecting. He gets so mad at me when I tell him he should seriously consider the job though :/ am I expecting too much of him?
