Family Visits

Was wondering what everyone’s take was on the family visiting/meeting baby post birth. With Christmas coming shortly after we are due, we have received a lot of invites with everyone having the mindset of wanting to meet the baby.

I’m a first time mom and I really want to bond and stay home as much as possible, and heal myself. Literally the only person I want entering the home is my mom.

I don’t want him passed around, and I thought it was pretty standard to keep the baby home the first month- to help build their immunity.

What is the right time to have family meet?
