Baby weaning early

Has anyone else had their baby wean early? She is only 8 months old and she is losing interest in breastfeeding. She wants to suckle for comfort and closeness but she's not interested in actually eating. I can get her to eat decently maybe twice a day, but even then she only empties the breasts about halfway. They used to stay pretty empty throughout the day and I definitely never had engorgement. Within this past month it's changed a ton and I feel like they are constantly full and it's uncomfortable and concerning! I know she needs to have breast milk until a year, and I'm not emotionally ready for her to stop. Should I pump and give her sippys with the milk or should I just let her eat when she needs to and follow her lead? Both options suck 😭 This is my first time successfully breastfeeding so any and all advice is welcome!
