HELP! We have an ant problem…what should I do?

They were first in our laundry room (all around a Cheerio that was stuck on my babies clothes). They must come came inside from the garage as that’s the only outside door that’s in the laundry room and I would have noticed if they came from the front door.

I started washing the clothes in the laundry room so I could take the baskets out. I still have a few things in there. I was spraying them all with vinegar and they were all dying. We bought traps that bring the poison back to the queen but idk I didn’t feel like it was working. But then I ended up getting sick and so it was left for almost a week.

Yesterday I noticed they started coming on the main floor (from the laundry room) all down my hallway towards the front door. The odd one was making it way towards my living room/kitchen.

I have sprayed them all with vinegar (which killed them all except a few) and I steam cleaned with vinegar as well. There’s still a few coming up and more in the laundry room still.

HELP ME?! What should I do? Anything that helped you? Should I hire an exterminator? I’m just worried about the chemicals I have two little babies. But I don’t want them to get into the kitchen and go through our food or get upstairs in the bedroom. This is so so frustrating to deal with.
