Covid aftermath?

Okay so Me, my fiance, and my (then) 7 month old all had covid from middle to end of October... Since then, both sides of my tongue have been kinda gross and peeling?

I am not sure if it's just a coincidence?

No peeling on the top of my tongue at all.

No pain, no sores.

It's like if you burnt your mouth on hot food and you can peel the skin? But on both sides. It's purely just appearance.

What could it be?

It is forreal just loose skin sitting there. You an peel it and everything but NO I do not mess with it ever.
