When should I worry about spit up

B

My 5 week old spits up often. He’s been a formula baby since birth and has always spit up. I’ve mentioned it to his pediatrician multiple times (as well as other pediatricians for second/third opinions). Nobody seems to be concerned about it.

My baby doesn’t seem bothered by the spit and is gaining weight well. His diapers are normal too. I understand there are “happy spitters” and that spit up is very normal, but my concern is the frequency and everything we’ve tried hasn’t reduced it.

He spits up after every feeding (sometimes during). We do everything we can to help control it — paced feedings, burp after every ounce, sitting upright while feeding, staying upright afterwards for 10-15 minutes, using a slow flow nipple. But still…spit up every single time.

Do I just need to accept it and let it be? And accept the fact that I’ll be doing laundry almost every other day? Or is there something we haven’t tried yet. Please share!
