Snowsuit question

We live in a cold climate so a snowsuit is super important. This our first child and he will need one next year (at 1 year old). 
What’s better? A one piece or 2 piece snowsuit (jacket and ski pants) 
Recommendations are welcome!

Definitely go for a full suit/overall. A two piece set is closet to useless!

I prefer the one piece snow suits when they aren’t able to walk yet. Once they are walking and getting around I liked the snow bibs and coat combo.

For playing in the snow a one piece. If it’s for in the car, a coat that is not puffy. My daughter is 1.5, we have a snow suit for playing and a coat that she uses any other time

We've had both two- and one-pieces and definitely hands down prefer the one-pieces! We live in Sweden and even school age kids wear them. Dressing a toddler for the cold is already enough work, you might as well take one more step out! And if you live in a cold climate you'll have no trouble reselling it, so we prefer to invest in a good one. Reima makes great quality ones and I believe is available in the US. They're having a sale now 😉

I recommend a one piece that has feet and fold over mittens. We have one from Columbia and I like it.

I got a one piece snow suit from Carter’s for my 1yr old. It works great and he seems comfortable enough to walk and play. In the snow it delivers keeping baby warm and dry.
