What time would suit most people with babies aged 6-15 months?

We’re having an (outdoor) celebration for my daughters 1st birthday. Case numbers are low where we live currently. We have friends with babies aged between 6-18 months and we’re trying to decide on a time that would suit most people. For everyone who has kids in this age range- what time would suit you best? It would either be brunch/morning tea or afternoon tea.

The later time, post nap for sure.  The earlier time slot is leading up to nap time and mine would be a monster the closer to 12 it got😬

Depends on how long the event is. If its a quicker id rather do it in the afternoon. Longer event would be preferable for the morning before naptime.

I think either is fine, but would adjust a little. Maybe more like 10-1130 or 4 to 530. My kids take a long midday nap, 2 1/2 to 3 hours, and it usually starts between 12-1230. The thing to consider is not just nap time, but also the time it takes to get kids ready to go/home. My kids might be up between 2-330, but then I have to change a diaper, dress them, feed them (snack, we can do that in the car sometimes), grab all their stuff, hit the bathroom myself, and actually get them in the car. Considering I have 3 kids under 4 and an breastfeeding my baby, that all takes about an hour most of the time. But if you’re fine with people arriving late/leaving early or you have folks who are more loose with the schedule (or have those kids who will just pass out wherever 😒), then do whatever you want 😊 Just realize not everyone’s children have the same routine. Whatever you do, you may have someone who can’t make it or is unhappy with the scheduling 🤷🏻‍♀️

We usually do play dates and such in the morning before lunch and nap. However, my daughter turns one next month and we are having her party at 15:00 instead.
