Did you stay with the person? How did you get over it? How long has it been? Did it effect your relationship(s) now?

I did stay bc I was young, dumb, and “in love”. It continued to happen, with god knows how many people. I wasted 7 years of my life on someone who did not deserve my time.

Yes I was cheated on multiple times. I stayed for another 6 months because I was only 14 and didn't know any better. I left then got back together with him a year later. He continued to be extremely abusive and manipulative. I left him last year, I am now 19 going to turn 20. I'm so glad I left because I am now engaged to a wonderful man.

Basically by every guy I’ve been with. One of them, I was the other girl and didn’t know about his gf of 4 years. Another I was a rebound for a guy who told me his ex of 7 years and him were over … come to find out they weren’t. And most recently my ex cheated on me with two girls he said were his friends. I was even getting to know them when I figured it out. We broke up pretty fast because he told me he felt more obligated to them than me.

Yes i was cheated on. The first time i was young and dumb and stayed. The second time i also stayed because i was pregnant. But after he cheated again left. Now, no way in hell. And heavily, i have a very hard time trusting people. Im in a relationship with a guy whos been through the same, and he has a verrrryy hard time trusting. We both get each other tho. And it just takes open and good communication to get through it. It sucks and hurts forsure. But im learning how to trust myself again and learn how to be vulnerable again. You never know if someone will cheat and cant guarantee if they will. But dont let that stop you from being open and being in love

Yes I’ve been cheated on, No I didn’t stay with any of them, the one I did stay with cheated time and time again, and glad that’s over. I staying with someone who cheats, they learn they don’t have to respect you, can treat you horribly, I know that you don’t want to be alone and you will tolerate whatever because you don’t want to be, you teach them of the behaviors not only acceptable, but that you’ll tolerate it, and when they do it again, and they will, don’t be shocked. Instead realize that you deserve better, you deserve happiness, you deserve someone who is faithful to you.  You deserve love, you deserve so much more than you settle for us.
