Maternity allowance/SMP
Just found out I’m pregnant with 3rd baby, I currently work 8 hours a week on minimum wage so get about £288 every 4 weeks. I know I definitely don’t qualify for SMP but will I qualify for maternity allowance?
Is there anything I could do to help qualify for anything like possibly pick up extra hours in qualifying weeks or does it not work like that?
Obviously I haven’t told anyone yet which is why I’m asking here for advice
