For those with toddlers at home that are at school. Are you at all nervous about covid with a newborn around? Do you have a game plan if it’s brought into your home when ur baby is just a couple weeks old?  Anyone know of new newborns getting jt? How r they? This is my second pandemic baby. First my child was 3 months so it was more manageable now i have a toddler in school so basically more risk.

I just had my daughter 4 Days ago and I set my two-year-old son to stay with my sister. It was the 1st time that I had ever been away from him for more than like 8 hours and the next day after my daughter was born I got a phone call dad everyone in my sister's house has started to pop positive for covid So the day we came home my sister was able to get a test and my son was negative so currently occurrently my son and husband  Are having run of the house and me and the baby are quarantined to a bedroom We are re testing him in 3 days  We are hoping that he will still be negative If not then I will stay in the bedroom for another the week

I will have a 10yo in school and playing basketball. 2yo that stays home with me. Dad who will be working a ton because we don't have any other option.
The only thing I could do is pull my son out of school for 2 weeks if approved (it would be in a heartbeat) it'd be pointless to pull him out when his dad is equally exposed daily at work. 
Am I freaking out a little? Yes. But I can't change anything other than everyone being extra cautious. Visitors will be limited and masked

We pulled our 4 year old out of preschool last week and will keep her home until I deliver and then two weeks after. I realize we could all get COVID right after that and who knows how much of a difference it will make but we felt like we had to do something. It just feels like there is no good or right choice  with all this… :(

My 3.5 year old is going to continue going to preschool every day. This is also my second pandemic baby. With my last, we quarantine for 4 weeks before and 3 weeks after, and it was HARD. My 15 mo old is home with the nanny, but the nanny obviously has a life outside of us so she is already an exposure risk, and I don’t think we could handle her not coming plus keeping the 3.5 year old plus the newborn - my husband isn’t taking any time off of work so it just seems like it would be too much. One of my good friends’ 7 week old got Covid recently and he was in the nicu, but it was more precautionary because of the fever than him really needing it. She said she think she felt worse than the baby did! Baby got discharged as soon as he was fever free and is totally fine now.
