Is labor near or is this just Braxton Hicks? It’s been happening for around 6 hours now

I keep having this too!!! So frustrating! But as someone reminded me, your body is preparing for labor and hopefully with doing all this work now, we are getting breaks and won’t have to labor for 17393739 hooooouurs! I am hoping that is true haha

If they’re painful at all then probably real contractions. If they slow down, it’s probably just prodromal or pre-labour, but if they come faster and are gaining strength then it could be real labour. Hopefully it goes quickly but know it’s normal for labour to take awhile
