If you have a front load washing machine, is there mold anywhere on the rubber gasket?

I’ve owned mine for 10 months and dry it religiously and just found mold. What the heck!

Nope! 
I leave the door open at all times when not in use, never had an issue! 
If you keep the door closed it will grow mold/mildew and smell awful!!!

I absolutely despise front loading washers becuase of that very reason! I tried all the cleaning methods and it just always stunk. As soon as I could I got rid of it I did.

We no longer have a front loader because it so gross after such a short time even when following all the directions, but yes, it did.

I keep mine open, wash it once a month, and use a tea tree oil cleaner to clean the tub, gasket, etc.. I’ve never had a mold problem or a problem with it smelling.  I also drain it on schedule.  I’ve had it 8 years now.

I've never had this! And front loaders are pretty much the norm here. 
However I must say that we have an "addwash" hatch in the door and this thing collects so much dirt!

Have had a front load washing machines as long as I have lived and never had mold or smell. Top load washing machines isn't really a thing here. 
But as others have said you have to leave the door open after washing.

Because the dryer is in the same room I keep the area very ventilated and keep the doors open.
