When did you get your period ?

I been breastfeeding my daughter for 11 months now and I just started my period… no I haven’t had my period at all till now does that mean I won’t produce milk anymore?? Not trying to sound dumb I’m just new to this… please no rude comments 😊

It just means you started your period. You can breastfeed still.

I was just as concerned trust me! I got mine 5-6 months pp (this is my first) and we ebf too. Little guy didn’t notice a difference in taste and I didn’t feel like my supply dropped. I didn’t change anything about my routine other than take Tylenol or Motrin for the cramps (which were SO MUCH WORSE now!!!) he’s almost 8 months now and the length between my used-to-be predictable cycles now varies between 44-38 days and only last 3 days. (It used to be 29 on the spot and lasted 5 but holy heck the cramps are terrible now 😂) hope this helps!

5 months pp mind returned. My son just turned 2 and is still breastfeeding.

You might experience a temporary dip in supply but that’s it! No big deal ♥️

I got my period back a month after my PP bleeding stopped while exclusively breastfeeding. My milk supply has been great for the past 6 months 😊

You will still produce milk, but  if u had a drop in milk you can take calcium and magnesium to help with supply...
