Why is my family mad

So me and my husband travel for a living with our almost 3 yr old daughter and to save us money and sanity I got birth control one were you get no period at all and his mom my hellish mother in law flushed all of them down the toilet when we went for a visit saying she was doing gods will (we are Christians) I also believe my body my choice if I’m not trying to have a baby why do I need to bleed!

We got into it he is on my side but she is claiming I’m doing satanic things by taking the pill I’m 30 and we want another baby but not for at least 2 more years after our house is built we have a plan but she and everyone else in his family who she told now won’t talk to us unless I swear that I won’t tAke another pill
