Is it worth it?
*TRIGGER WARNING* previous 2nd tri loss
I had a loss a couple of years ago at 20 weeks (genetic abnormality we were not aware of). Since then I had one healthy baby. I experienced a chemical pregnancy about 9 months ago and now I am pregnant again (4weeks 4 days). Is this considered recurrent miscarriage? My doctor had said to call her and go in for blood work whenever I got a positive pregnancy test, but my husband and I are thinking it’s better to just let things happen naturally. If I have an early miscarriage, it’s because baby wasn’t developing appropriately, right? I’m unsure of what to do and fear that going in for blood work will make me more anxious and there’s not much that can be done to prevent miscarriage anyways… I am feeling optimistic about this pregnancy though. Thoughts?
