We had a sand fight tonight

After dinner my 3 yo daughter wanted to play with her sand sensory box I got for her. I got it out and she was just playing around with it like usual. Then all of the sudden she looked at me with the biggest smile on her face and just tossed sand all in my hair! Typically I would tell her no because it would make a mess, but I stopped myself and just said you know what? Let’s just have fun. I decided to pick up a handful of sand and just toss it right back at her. It was so fun. We just spent about 5 minutes just having a sand fight. I didn’t care about the mess. (Sort of 😂) but she was having fun so just gave in. Then afterwards we both just cleaned up the mess together.
