Where's my daughter

My Ex picked up our daughter early, telling me she wanted to avoid getting caught in snow that was falling. I offered to watch our daughter over night or even drop her off myself but my ex declined. She told me they'd be staying at her grandmother's that night.

When FaceTimed them later that night, my Ex confirmed that they made it to the grandmother's house safe. When I talked to our daughter on that same call she asked me where I was, I told her I was home; playfully, I asked her where she was, my daughter responded saying that she was at my Ex's new boyfriend's house. This ofcourse upset me greatly.

I confirmed with the grandmother that My Ex had not come to her house at all despite her telling me that that's where they were at.

Do I have the right be upset? Or am I tripping?
