Postpartum depression?

Im 3 weeks pp and recently I've been feeling like I can't let anyone else take care of my baby. Not even my husband. I don't want him changing diapers or feeding or holding him, I just want to do it myself. Im not sure why, as he's doing a great job for a first time dad. Does this sound like ppd? Or is it just who I am as a person lol

Postpartum anxiety is what it sounds like. I had the same thing for the first 3 months. I didn’t want anyone else holding her or feeding her. I reallly struggled with that. I was overly protective. I started on anxiety meds and I’m doing much better! I’m able to hand her off to dad or friends much easier now. I would look into some medication or counseling.

It sounds like maternal gate keeping.
But it could be postpartum anxiety . I would do a search for both on the internet and see if you think you have the symptoms

I had PPD but it was the opposite. I wanted nothing to do with the baby. Sound more like postpartum anxiety. Talk to your OB! Don’t wait!
