Csection instead of induction?

Question

I was wondering if anybody know if a doctor will allow me to choose a csection instead of induction! 
My doctor told me I am allowed to try for vbac IF I go into labor naturally by my due date.
If I don’t, she wants to schedule an induction.
I REFUSE to be induced. I have the most traumatizing experience with my 1st and I rather go straight to the knife and get this baby out instead of taking pitocin.
Tomorrow I’ll ask my doctor about the possibility but wanted to know your experience?

since you had previous c-section, then yes. they should allow you to have a repeat c section. i’m not sure if you have to notify them at so many weeks before to make sure they can book an OR but in my experience, i was allowed to change from vbac to c section!

If you’ve already had a csection then 100% a repeat csection is an option. Your doctor should have no problem agreeing to that for you.
That being said I had an induced vbac and I’d take that over a csection any day! I’m hoping for another vbac in May

Is there a specific reason dr is saying would induce you by due date? (I had 48.5 hrs labor to emergency csection at 37weeks bc of preeclampsia)
I’m trying for a vbac I WILL not get induced unless medically absolutely necessary. I would want a very good medical necessity to not let me go two weeks over due date…

In my country you can chose your type of deivery if there are no complications and if the pregnancy is ok. So I’d say you could also chose.
