Implementation vs period

Okay so this is weird but I never paid attention to this part of period or implantation bleeding so I have a question that hopefully someone can educate me lol.

My period was due to 6th BUT I have not had the bright red flow I have had the picky brown and it is not constant it's more so spotting for 2 days now, Not cramping really like a mild pinch feeling. I took a test a day before my missed period because I have not had the period symptoms let alone pregnancy symptoms either. Anyone have anything similar?
