Honest opinions please

Me and my child’s father have been going back and forth. A while back I asked him to sign over whatever rights he would have so that he would not be able to be involved in my child’s life in any way. He didn’t want to do I decided to still include him for the baby, I text him about a week ago telling him about the gender reveal & his response was he’s not coming he’s going to sign over his rights.. Would u still include his family? Or cut all ties with the whole side?
