Hey! Do you all tell your partners everything durning your day while you are apart. For example if your bf was at work would you shoot him a text like “I’m about to go get lunch” or “I’m about to run out and do xyz “?

My bf and I were texting today and I was telling him I went to get our pool passes and he responds you didn’t tell me you were leaving out…. I don’t think I should have to tell anyone what I’m doing every second of my day but for some reason he thinks it’s common Curtesy. I think it can be a bit obsessive or controlling. Thoughts ? And I tripping.
