Cradle Cap

Question

My little girl doesn’t have it severe enough she needs medicated treatment of it. But thought I’d see what you mammas used for your little ones when they had it. Any shampoo work better than another one for you?? I know it’s from excess oil production around the hair follicles. My reading had said a light shampoo can be helpful for it.

we used olive oil massages and gentle brushing with a baby brush. my son had it allll over his forehead and near his eyes. it was so much!

We didn't use anything but the pediatrician said to use Selsun Blue shampoo. Lather it up and let it sit for 5 minutes and then rinse.

With a little baby wash. It’s worked well for us. She doesn’t have it bad but the little bit she does it’s help clear it up.

THIS worked wonders we used it 2x on baby and at 99% gone. Used normal shampoo EUCERIN Baby, didn’t use any special shampoo! Easy steps to follow and poof begone!

Baby oil or coconut oil. Massage it onto babies head and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Use the scrubbie someone comment and then once baby is washed and out of the bath, use a comb. I comb backwards and it just removes all the loose cradle cap. I give babies head a few days (3-4) and then repeat. I normally only have to do this 2-3 times before it’s gone. It may come back in a couple months and then just start over.
