Herpes in children??

Help 😩

So neither my husband nor I have herpes of any kind, but my ex mother in law gets the cold sores on her mouth and I’ve always been terrified of her passing them to the kids..

They spent last weekend at their dads and had these pop up! Their dad lives with his parents. Is it possible they kissed her or drank out of her cup and caught herpes 😭😭 I’m so upset.

My son had a fever and didn’t feel well all day and had these blisters on his chin. My daughter seems fine but got that blister near her lip and has two more on her cheek/jaw line area that are just red spots but no blister.
