So my husband and I were having a casual conversation and he told me that if he had to give up 1 thing for the rest of his life it would be sex and that he could go the rest of his life without it. Is any other girl dealing with this with their S/O? We have sex maybe once a week because he just never initiates it. And when I try and tells me no.

I think sometimes people assume that men automatically have these crazy high sex drives but men can also struggle with low sex drive. I could easily go without sex because I just suffer from a really low sex drive. My husband and I have to communicate really openly about it and I’ve been working on getting my sex drive back but it takes time. I would just have a real conversation with him and see if something is going on and you also need to communicate your needs as well l. For my husband it’s not that big of a deal but if it’s a big deal to you then definitely bring it up. 
If it means anything I think even once a week is a lot 😂😂😂 we’re lucky if it’s twice a month ha we do have crazy jobs and a toddler though so that doesn’t help lol

I mean it's perfectly okay for someone not to be focused on sex all the time. Some people just have more of an asexual mindset, where it's not something they feel they need to be happy. Sex once a week is average for most couples so that's still good statistically. I can understand it would be frustrating if you have a higher sex drive, but just know most of the time it doesn't mean he isn't attracted to you and it has nothing to do with you personally.

He sounds like me. I don't care for sex as much as my partner does. I can go months and have plenty of times. Some just don't have a high drive and others do.

Im 24 my husband is 51 he does have a low sex drive as do I but if we both intimate and are in the mood we go for it. If one of us is and the other one isnt we dont get mad at each other.
