Is it weird?

I have twin daughters and a son, I exclusively pumped for all the kids. I recently stopped pumping and decided to get some BM keepsakes. I ordered 2 rings, and a little heart made out of the breast milk that has their birthflakes in it (all December babies) and am debating on getting a necklace. My in laws asked why I needed so much and that it was pointless, I told them when my twins get older they will each take a ring and my son will get the little heart, and that we would always be connected with those. My in laws told me it was weird and that it was a waste of money and how it's the dumbest thing they've heard of. I don't think its weird. Is it?
