Transitioning from bottle to breast?

Has anyone had success moving a bottle fed baby to breast? My daughter is currently 3.5 weeks and due to hospitalization in her first weeks she had to take a bottle and formula. She now actively resists when I put her to the breast even just for comfort (ie after making sure she’s full and happy), but I really want to breastfeed directly rather than pumping all the time, and I’d prefer to move to EBF over formula. Any experience is welcome!

A few thoughts: a supplemental nursing system (SNS), putting droplets of what she’s drinking now on your nipple, pace feeding a bottle while she gets over her initial hunger crazies and then switching to the boob once she’s less ravenous?

I've pumped and bottle fed for almost 3 months and then switched to latching on the breast. Baby had no issues whatsoever transitioning to the breast. On the contrary once he got comfortable on the breat he started refusing the bottle. He still won't take a bottle no matter what I do . 🤷‍♀️
Best advice is keep trying.

This happened with my daughter because she was in the nicu for the first couple of days after she was born. The only way we (lactation consultant and I) could get her to latch was with a nipple shield. She continued to use the nipple shield for about a month, then one day I decided to try without it and she latched. I can honestly say that I didn’t mind nursing with the shield because it reduced pain and made it easy to switch from breast to bottle when I needed rest.
