Weird rash??

My little guy is almost two and has had strange rash, it started around his thigh area so I thought maybe heat rash but it has spread on his body. The doctor is closed due to the weekend and Memorial Day. Should I go to the er or?

I have two sons that would get a rash like that in the summer. It was like heat rash and sweating

My son had something similar for a few days, he has no allergies, no sensitivities to anything but we just have him a warm bath with just water and let him soak, we used a little Vaseline and monitored his temp, he was fine within a day or 2. 
If it gets worse , itchy, red and puffy and or have a fever than take him to the hospital but I would let it play out if eh doesn’t have any food allergies, didn’t try any new foods or didn’t use any new creams/soaps

An urgent care may be opened tomorrow (where I am the pediatric one associated with our regular practice is opened.) But, I wouldn’t go to the ER for that. I’d see what urgent care options you have for tomorrow, or see if you can get in on Tuesday.
