5 cm dilated 36 weeks 3 days

I went to labor & delivery yesterday morning with regular contractions. They were able to stop my labor and I didn’t progress anymore so I’m at home taking it easy.

This is my third baby. My first came within four hours. My second was born via emergency C-section due to umbilical cord prolapse. My doctor is confident I can have a VBAC since my body has done it so easily before and almost a second time if it weren’t for the cord prolapsing.

The doctor on call yesterday does not do VBACs so I’m so happy my labor stopped.

Is it possible to walk around 5cm dilated 60% effaced for a few more weeks or is it more likely he’s coming any day?
