Ex calling and texting

Ok so husband knows I don't keep secrets that this ex called and texted a ton yesterday.

Ex is from over a decade ago. We have mutual friends and he was a friend of my husband's. Years ago he was disrespectful by saying we could "see eachother" and not tell my boyfriend (now husband.) So since we don't associate much with him. I say much because he is a friend/Co worker of my brother. I also am connected to a none profit and yesterday was fundraising benefit. This ex comes and called and texted me yesterday about event a ton. The issue is he can literally call or text anyone but chooses me. My husband thinks it's disrespectful. Honestly I think this guy has a wife and family now too and just is trying to be friendly no harm.
