my husband and i been together 8 years..his a very hard working man but very inmature..he has bad habits and iam not his priority..he also has horrible friends that sell drugs use drugs and always cheating on their partners..that led us to take a break but still living together..before we took our break he said that we was going to a concert together..anyways that day came which was friday but we was on break but still got along good..he left without me! he didnt even txt me or call to let me know he was going or if i wanted to go still..he went with his brother and a friend..come to find out the next day that the friend took some girls with him to join them..then he asked one of the girls to dance with him and he asked the girl for her number..after the club he txted her! twice but luckily she aint responded because she was not interested i guess..i was so hurt..so now idk if i should leave since we were already on break or give it a try.? and FYI some family members of mine were there also and he did all that infront of them..disrespect to the fullest😫

Breaks during marriage are interesting to me. Ordinarily, I’d say a break means you are not in a relationship; therefore you’re single and can do what you want. But in a marriage, I feel like he should still respect you. Some women don’t mind their man dancing with other women or anything as long as he doesn’t f*** them. I’m not one of those women. We’re married so act like it. Idk if you should forgive him or not. That’s up to you on what you tolerate. I know I wouldn’t be able to trust him nearly as much if not at all. I’d have doubts. Go with your gut and talk to him about all of this. Tell him how you feel.

No such thing as a break in marriage. He cheated on you & now you have to decide how to move forward. If you do choose to stay with him, I would highly suggest marriage counseling.

When we were married for a year we “took a break” but not really. It was more like giving each other space. We had boundaries of still respecting our vows. No cheating. No flirting. This was a time just to contemplate if we still wanted this. If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t have done it but I’m thankful we had clear and set boundaries in place. 
It sounds like boundaries/rules weren’t in place here. I would personally leave since he is trying to pursue other women. That’s not acceptable in a MARRIAGE.

You’ve been married for so many years and decided to take a break. So what did you guys set as boundaries when you talked about going on a break? Some married couples take breaks and basically live as if single for both partners to take time for themselves as they see fit. Other married couples take breaks but have hard boundaries on things like still not being able to pursue other people.  So did he go against boundaries that had been set? If there was no talk before deciding to go on a break with your husband… that’s tricky. A break in a marriage is clearly not a good sign and no one caring to have a full discussion on what a break would mean before starting it also isn’t a good sign. 
I would never be with someone like that because I personally don’t want to spend my life having to babysit my husband and spell out what is right from wrong when he’s a grown man that should know better.
