Would you stay??

My husband literally never makes me feel wanted. Our “spark” is gone. We’re rarely affectionate and I’m lucky to have sex with him twice a month. We’re both in our 20’s and no kids. I’ve now gotten to the point where I think about having sex with him all the time but I don’t even ask or attempt anything because I know he will tell me no. When I see other couples so happy or being affectionate towards each other or talking about getting quickies in anywhere anytime possible I get so jealous because that’s not the man I have but yet that’s the kind of man that I want....

Have you guys talked about therapy ?? Or try to talk about this issue in more depth. ? Maybe if he sees that you are at the end of your rope he would realize he needs to change

I would stay but I'd have an in depth conversation & if that didn't resolve the issue then I would see a therapist and learn new perspectives & how to overcome that battle.

One thing I think is SUPER important that maybe you should discuss is that you should never start dating your partner. What I did when I realized I was being complacent, is I made a list of all the things that I or we used to do that we don’t do anymore. You’d be surprised how much can change (including sex life) when you bring back that excitement into it.

Yeah I’d stay … I’d just go to counseling… my honest answer 💚 you need to be happy. But I can’t use a comparison of other couple as a reason to leave … not a marriage , I can’t use spark as a reason when I signed up for 50-60 years Min…

Talking seems like the best first step between the two of you to be honest.
I don't wish to judge at all, but do you nag him? Do you make him feel wanted, feel special?
When we nag or chastise our husbands they can start to feel inadequate and at worse we remind them of their mums -not someone they want to have sex with!
Maybe you could try biting your tongue if you're about to nag him, say thank you for doing what may seem like insignificant things (thanks for emptying the dishwasher honey! Thank you for putting your socks away, it saved me a few minutes there! Etc) and give him little confidence boosts every now and again (your hair looks good today. Hey those jeans look great on you, etc). Try it, he might wake up a bit and may even end up needing reciprocal!😁
