Would you forgive your MIL if she called you a racial slur?

I lived with my then bf (now husband) at MIL’s house while we were both finishing college. I’m a shy, quiet, keep to myself kind of person, very introverted, socially anxious. Basically if you’re not super outgoing, it’s hard for me to talk to you. I say this because that’s the only reason I can really think of that she wouldn’t like me. That, and she thought I was with my husband for a free place to stay. My husband didn’t want me to pay rent but he’d give his mom money. Well one day she was arguing with my husband about him being with me and she called me a racial slur. we moved out and they stopped talking. I know there are only 2 races she approves of and I am neither of those. Anyway, my husband and her reconciled but I never forgave her. My husband thinks I should move on because it happened 4 years ago. But I can’t, I don’t think I will ever see her the same and I’m disgusted by her.
