Are you worried about the Marburg virus?

As soon as I heard about this, as a mom of 5 small children, I’m terrified that it will spread. I’m so anxious about it to the point that I was crying last night. No one else around me is extremely concerned about it… Am I the only one that has this fear?

Nah, I kinda freaked out for a bit. So far it's just Ghana, and I would love to trust them to contain it. But after watching covid and how it spread and how quickly it spread... Got me on edge a bit.

No, I’m not worried. Illnesses pop up all the time and cases of things like this happen every single year. Right now it’s four people in Ghana, and it isn’t spreading rapidly or anywhere out of control. The chances of it reaching outside Ghana is small. Could it happen? Sure. Will it end up being a Covid level pandemic where we all need to panic? No, not at all.

Not particularly. Outbreaks happen all the time, people just didn’t know about it until somewhat recently 🤷🏼‍♀️
