How is it returning to work?

Question

I'm returning to work after 10 months of mat leave in September and I'm just wondering how everyone finds it? I'm only going back 2 days a week as its 12 hour shifts, one day my parents will have baby the other day is when my husband has the day off so I'm not worried about leaving her with people as I know she's just fine, I'm more worried about myself to be honest 😂 I'm sure I'll be fine and I might even enjoy it but at the moment the thought of it just makes me a but sad

I went back to work full time in June and I'm still struggling with the mom guilt 🙈🙈🙈 it's not getting any easier and I just wanna be at home with my baby rather than having to pay people to raise my child 😭

I went back after a year off and my son was definitely a bit clingy when I went back (but I was just as upset leaving him!) but he did great. I went back part time which I think helped me massively, I do 3 days a week

I went back at 12 months eith my first  she was super clingy to me. I went back 2 days then three. She had two days in Jersey and one day with nanny. I enjoyed the time away. I felt it helped me. I missed her but I didn't struggle. Everyone is so different. I don't think there is a 'right' way to feel. I do remember feeling a sadness around the time spent together and all the groups we went to etc and the freedom we had. But was glad to have two week days off with her. This was a bonus x
