Fingers crossed

Hi everyone. My period is due in two days so I am day 26 in my cycle. I’m usually like clock work. I am a 41yr old with 2 little boys. Had a missed miscarriage in April so things are only just getting back to to “normal” now. I have a 28day cycle with usually ovulation half way through. Didn’t do ovulation tests this time round. Took a pregnancy test at wkend came up negative. That’s ok will try again. But to Throw me in a Google frenzy I’m having some little pink/brown spotting today. I’ve never had this My body’s be very predictable. I know with age too things can change so maybe this is something that happens now. I’ve been told on different sites this could be implantation bleeding ? Never had it or know anyone who has had it. Wouldn’t have thought that this late into my cycle This would be happening either ?? Anyone have experience with negative tests close to period due date turning positive near dates after period ??
