Can something be wrong with my 16month old

So my now 16 month old baby is barely walking and doesn’t talk yet he just says mama or dada, and I try my best to teach him more words but he just doesn’t want to say anything

I have this gut feeling like something might be wrong like possibly autism. He yells all the time to get our attention, he flaps his hands constantly and throws food /toys etc.. everywhere

He just started walking and tends to walk on his tip toes sometimes

I know that these things don’t mean he’s autistic but my oldest (4yo) was nothing like this and I know every kid is different but I’m just worried and I can’t shake off this feeling

I scheduled an appointment to speak with his doctor already 👍🏼

But I would like to know if any parents have any experience with this or suggestions
