What did your pp depression feel like?

Just wondering if anyone could explain how they felt with postpartum depression/ anxiety? Did you take anything for it, did it get better?

Answer

I felt super dissociated and very easily agitated. I would cry over everything and nothing at all. I knew it was all because my hormones were on a roller coaster so that made me feel better. It got better on its own after probably 6 weeks, I started to feel like myself again. It was pretty bearable for me but it can be very different for everyone. My sister said that she felt like she’d died and was mourning her old self. I never felt like that but it should pass as hormones stabilize.

Honestly, I don’t know if could describe it. But if your questions yourself you should talk to your doctor.
