TTC after thyroidectomy

Hi everyone,

I am two years past my total thyroidectomy and my levels are stable. I think I’m ready to try for baby number three and go off my birth control. But I am nervous…..

How did everyone else handle this in my situation?

Did you have any pregnancy issues or did you have any issues conceiving?

My first two pregnacies or a little bit rough because I had to get iron infusions and I obviously had thyroid issues. I also lost a baby in between and I’ve had two endometriosis surgeries.

Any experience helps! Thanks! I’ll be seeming my endocrinologist in October and thinking about talking to my OB soon once I gather my thoughts.
