pregnancy after a loss

so back in january i had a miscarriage, i never really got an answer why but i was told that me catching covid could’ve played a part apparently, anyways, i just got a positive with my at home tests and am going to call my dr for a blood test, but because i don’t know the reason for my miscarriage i was thinking if i should ask them to check my hormone levels as well just to make sure they’re in the right range to support this pregnancy ? like my progesterone levels ?
