Anxiety medication?
For those of you who take medicine for anxiety, does it really help?
I’ve been suffering from anxiety lately, and I really need to do something about it. It’s starting to affect my job and I don’t want it to hurt my marriage. My husband is very supportive, and he’s totally understanding, but I feel like I’m a burden on him. He says I’m not, but I can’t help but think I am. No one wants to deal with a spouse who’s always nervous, or is constantly complaining how their job is triggering. I had an anxiety attack not too long ago. I didn’t tell my husband. We have a 6 year old daughter who needs me to be at my best, and I feel like I can’t do that when I’m constantly dealing with anxiety. I’ve tried to deal with it on my own, but I don’t think I can much longer.
Also, my husband and I are trying for #2. He really wants a son, and I’m afraid that if I’m put In medication, it wouldn’t be safe for me to carry a child. I’m also worried about the side effects of the medication.
If you take any anxiety medication, does it help? How does it make you feel?
Thanks.
